Work in progress: FILM STOCKHOLM DEBUT & GOTLAND
DEBUT

Film Stockholm Debut & Gotland Debut is an initiative supporting first time feature film directors in Stockholm and Gotland. The program offers development support, group and individual sessions, tailored workshops, and exclusive meetings with international industry professionals.

Film Stockholm and Film på Gotland share a long-standing commitment to film production and talent development. Since 2021, their collaboration has been formalized to strengthen regional filmmaking and expand opportunities for filmmakers and production companies.

Film Stockholm and Film på Gotland join forces with Stockholm Industry Days, giving participants a wider platform to present their works in progress. These filmmakers from Film på Gotland and Film Stockholm will showcase their upcoming projects.

Together, this collaboration between Film Stockholm, Film på Gotland, and Stockholm Industry Days aims to strengthen the foundation for emerging Swedish cinema, building networks, visibility, and opportunities for new voices across the Nordics and beyond.

Film Stockholm Debut & Gotland Debut social event

The collaboration between Film Stockholm and Film Gotland aims to further strengthen Sweden’s growing talent. At this event, you’ll meet emerging filmmakers from Film Stockholm Debut and Film Gotland Debut, after they’ve presented their latest projects during their program item.
